Questions about this item

Does my computer need a USB-A port to use the 2.4 GHz dongle?

Yes, the included receiver uses a USB Type-A connector, so an available USB-A port is required for the 2.4 GHz wireless mode.

Will the scroll wheel and five buttons function on an older Mac running macOS without extra drivers?

The mouse uses standard HID protocols, so the scroll wheel and all five buttons work natively on macOS without installing additional software.

How can I verify the sensor is actually tracking at 6000 dpi after pairing?

Open the Dell Peripheral Manager software, select the MS746, and check the DPI slider; it will display the active resolution up to 6000 dpi.
