Dell Wyse 5050 zero client for VDI

This 23.6-inch all-in-one PC is a Dell Wyse 5050 zero client built around a Teradici TERA2321 PCoIP processor. It is designed for organisations that run VMware Horizon virtual desktop infrastructure and need a compact, managed endpoint without a local operating system. The integrated display and compute unit suit task workers, call-centre desks or secure environments where data must remain in the data centre.

Check your VMware Horizon and PCoIP setup

Before ordering, verify that your Horizon environment supports PCoIP zero clients and that the connection broker, network bandwidth and display protocols match the Teradici TERA2321 capabilities. Ensure you have the required management console licences and that peripheral needs such as USB redirection or audio are compatible with the zero-client architecture. Buyers who need local applications, local storage or a full Windows or Linux OS should consider a traditional thin client or fat client instead.
