A 1 RU switch with 48 1/10GbE Base-T ports, two 40GbE QSFP+ uplinks and dual 460W hot-swap PSUs
The Dell N4064 is a 1 RU network switch that delivers 48 RJ-45 ports running at 1 or 10 GbE. Two QSFP+ ports provide 40 GbE uplink capacity for aggregation or core links. A dedicated rear management port and console port give out-of-band access. The unit ships with OS6 pre-loaded.
Two 460 W AC power supplies and two fan modules slide in from the rear and can be replaced without downtime. Standard airflow moves from the I/O side toward the power supplies. One expansion module bay is open for an optional networking module, which is not included. Rack rails are not supplied.
The switch maintains wire-speed performance across all 48 Base-T ports and both 40 GbE uplinks under continuous load. Dual hot-swap fans and dual power supplies keep airflow and power stable during extended operation. OS6 handles buffering and QoS to prevent head-of-line blocking when traffic patterns remain heavy.
