Refurbished Latitude E5470 for business users

This Dell Latitude E5470 is a refurbished 14.0" laptop aimed at professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro machine. The Intel Core i7-6820HQ quad-core processor runs at 2.70 GHz and is paired with 8GB of memory and a 480GB SSD. The non-touch FHD panel shows 1920 x 1080 resolution. Grade B condition means the chassis may have dents, chips or scuffs, the keyboard can be shiny or worn, and the screen may show hairline scratches.

Included battery and AC adaptor only

The bundle supplies the laptop, a battery and an AC adaptor so the system can run away from a desk immediately. No optical drive, webcam or additional peripherals are included in the package. Buyers who need a built-in camera for video calls or an optical drive for legacy media must add those separately.

Integrated graphics and fixed 8GB memory

The integrated graphics card handles office applications and video playback but is not suited for demanding 3D workloads or modern gaming. Memory is limited to the installed 8GB with no expansion mentioned in the specifications. Users who require discrete graphics performance or more than 8GB of RAM should consider a different platform.

Questions about this item

Will the 480GB SSD need replacement soon?

The 480GB solid-state drive has no moving parts and typically lasts several years; replace it only if capacity runs low or SMART data reports errors.

What limits sustained performance first on the i7-6820HQ?

The quad-core 2.70 GHz processor relies on integrated graphics and a single heat pipe, so thermal throttling appears before power or memory limits.

How loud and hot does the 14.0" FHD unit get during all-day use?

Under constant load the fan becomes audible and the palm-rest area warms noticeably, while the 1920 x 1080 non-touch screen adds minimal extra heat.
