Questions about this item

Will the 480GB SSD need replacement before the i7-7820HQ processor becomes a bottleneck?

The 480GB SSD is a solid-state drive with no moving parts, so it typically outlasts mechanical drives; the quad-core i7-7820HQ at 2.9GHz will hit its performance ceiling in modern workloads before the SSD wears out under normal business use.

What limit appears first when the i7-7820HQ runs at 2.9GHz on all four cores for hours?

The integrated graphics share system memory with the 16GB RAM, so sustained heavy compute plus display output will hit thermal throttling or memory bandwidth limits before the CPU itself maxes out.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the 15.6-inch FHD panel and i7-7820HQ run all day on Windows 10 Pro?

With only integrated graphics and a 480GB SSD producing little heat, the cooling fan stays at low RPM during typical office tasks; the gray chassis warms mildly but remains quiet enough for open-plan workspaces.
