Refurbished Precision 3520 for mobile workstations

This refurbished Dell Precision 3520 ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, an Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core processor at 2.80 GHz and 16 GB of DDR4 2400 memory. The 15.6-inch FHD panel runs at 1920 x 1080 with LED backlight. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 uses shared system memory. A 500 GB SSD provides the primary storage.

Ready to deploy with AC adaptor included

The package contains the notebook and a 150-watt AC adaptor, so the system powers up immediately. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and licensed. Memory slots support up to 32 GB total if you need more than the factory 16 GB. The 4-cell lithium-ion battery is fitted internally; runtime will vary with workload and battery age.

Verify ports and expansion before purchase

Connectivity offers one USB Type-C port, three USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI, one VGA, one RJ-45 Ethernet and a headset combo jack. Bluetooth 4.1 is built in. There is no optical drive and no touchscreen. Confirm that your peripherals and docks match the available video outputs and USB mix, and that the 500 GB capacity meets your storage needs.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 15.6" FHD display and Intel Core i7-7700HQ are performing correctly after setup?

Boot into Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, open Settings > System > Display to confirm 1920 x 1080 resolution, then run Task Manager > Performance to check the quad-core CPU runs at 2.80 GHz base speed and 16 GB DDR4 2400 memory is detected.

What does the Grade B refurbished package include and what must I source separately?

The box contains the Precision 3520 notebook and a 150-watt AC adaptor only; no optical drive is fitted, so any DVD or USB installation media, external storage or docking station must be purchased separately.

Which memory and storage configuration suits a mobile workstation workload on this model?

The unit ships with 16 GB DDR4 2400 and a 500 GB SSD; the board supports up to 32 GB maximum memory, so adding another 16 GB module later gives headroom for larger datasets while keeping the fast boot drive.
