Refurbished Precision 7720 workstation

This refurbished Dell Precision 7720 is a 17.3-inch mobile workstation built for professionals who need certified graphics and a large display in a single chassis. It ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installed and carries a Grade A cosmetic rating.

Quadro P3000 with 6GB video memory

The dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P3000 GPU provides 6GB of video memory for hardware-accelerated workflows in CAD, DCC and visualisation applications. The 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch panel delivers a wide-screen workspace without glossy reflections.

512GB SSD and 16GB system memory

The 512GB solid-state drive and 16GB of RAM determine whether this unit can hold active projects and run multiple professional tools simultaneously. Buyers who need more storage or memory capacity should look for a higher-specification configuration.

Questions about this item

Will the 512GB SSD need replacement before the Intel Core i7-6920HQ becomes a bottleneck?

The 512GB SSD is a solid-state drive with no moving parts, so it typically outlasts mechanical drives; capacity limits appear before wear does.

Does the NVIDIA Quadro P3000 with 6GB video memory hit thermal throttling before the 17.3" FHD panel reaches maximum brightness?

The Quadro P3000 is the primary heat source under sustained 3D workloads; its 6GB frame buffer fills before the display subsystem becomes a constraint.

How loud does the cooling fan get when the Intel Core i7-6920HQ and Quadro P3000 run at full load all day?

Dual-fan workstation cooling ramps up noticeably under continuous combined CPU and GPU load, producing audible but not extreme airflow noise.
