Dell NVIDIA Tesla P40 24GB AI accelerator

The Dell NVIDIA Tesla P40 is a 24GB GDDR5 AI accelerator card designed for rack-mount servers. It delivers compute performance for inference workloads and deep learning tasks in enterprise environments. The card uses a PCIe x16 interface and a dual-width full-height full-length form factor. It is intended for IT teams deploying GPU-accelerated inference in supported Dell PowerEdge platforms.

Check power, slot space and server compatibility

This card draws 250W and requires a PCIe x16 slot with enough physical clearance for a dual-width full-height full-length board. Verify that your server model appears in the supported list: C4140, R740, R740XD, R7425, R840, R940XA or T640. Confirm the power supply can deliver the required wattage and that cooling capacity matches the thermal profile. Ensure firmware is current for the target platform.
