A compact SFF desktop with a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-10500, 16 GB DDR4, 1 TB NVMe storage and Windows 11 Pro for business productivity
The Dell OptiPlex 7080 SFF is a small-form-factor desktop built for office and education environments. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, a wired keyboard and a wired mouse. The Intel Core i5-10500 processor provides 6 cores with a 3.10GHz base frequency and a 4.5GHz maximum turbo frequency. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives up to two DisplayPort 1.4 monitors.
The 180W power supply and compact chassis limit continuous high-frequency operation. Under prolonged multi-threaded workloads the CPU will throttle from its 4.5GHz turbo toward the 3.10GHz base to stay within thermal and power envelopes. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD keep productivity applications responsive during typical business duty cycles. The integrated graphics share system memory and are not suited for extended 3D rendering.
DisplayPort 1.4 outputs support two external displays at common business resolutions. Front USB-C and USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports plus four rear USB 3.2 ports provide peripheral bandwidth up to 10Gbps. The single RJ-45 port delivers standard gigabit Ethernet connectivity. Internal expansion is restricted by the SFF layout and the 180W power budget, so add-in cards requiring auxiliary power or full-height brackets cannot be accommodated.

The 180 W unit powers the i5-10500 and integrated UHD 630 graphics without a discrete GPU, so sustained loads stay within its thermal envelope and fan noise remains typical for a business SFF chassis.
You need two DisplayPort 1.4 cables (or DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapters) to connect monitors to the rear ports; no video cables are included in the box.
Yes — the front USB-C and USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports are backward compatible, so USB 3.0 drives operate at their rated 5 Gbps without extra drivers.
