Dell OptiPlex 7450 23.8" FHD Touch All-in-One

This all-in-one desktop combines a 23.8-inch 1920 x 1080 touchscreen with a 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7700 processor. It includes 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2.5-inch 1 TB hard drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed alongside a USB keyboard and mouse. The compact design integrates the display and components into a single black chassis suitable for business environments.

Suits offices needing a ready-to-use touchscreen

The integrated Intel Q270 chipset and integrated graphics handle standard productivity tasks and web-based applications. Buyers who require a discrete GPU for 3D rendering or video editing should look elsewhere. The single 8 GB SODIMM module may limit multitasking with large datasets. The 1 TB mechanical drive offers capacity but lacks the speed of solid-state storage.

23.8-inch 1920 x 1080 touchscreen display

The Full HD panel provides touch input for interactive kiosks, reception desks or collaborative workspaces. Its 23.8-inch diagonal determines the physical footprint on a desk or counter. No external monitor is required, reducing cable clutter. Verify that the screen size and touch capability match the intended deployment scenario before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 8 GB DDR4 SODIMM module and what is the common mistake?

The memory uses a 204-pin SODIMM slot; align the notch with the key and press firmly until the side clips snap — the step people get wrong is stopping before the clips engage, leaving the stick partially seated.

What maintenance will the 2.5" 1 TB hard drive need later?

Mechanical drives accumulate fragmentation and can develop bad sectors over time; plan to run a disk check periodically and budget for a drive replacement once performance drops or SMART warnings appear.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy workloads on the i7-7700?

The integrated graphics share system memory and have no dedicated VRAM, so prolonged GPU-accelerated tasks will hit the 8 GB RAM ceiling before the 3.6 GHz quad-core processor reaches its thermal ceiling.
