Dell OptiPlex 9010 All-in-One PC 23

This Dell OptiPlex 9010 is a complete all-in-one desktop with a 23 inch Full HD display. It runs on an Intel Core i7-3470 processor at 3.4 GHz with 8 GB of DDR3 memory. A 1 TB SATA hard drive provides storage. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed along with a keyboard and mouse.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This system suits office workers and home users needing a tidy, ready-to-use PC for everyday tasks. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000 handles standard business applications and video playback. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for gaming or 3D rendering should look elsewhere. The DDR3 memory and mechanical hard drive also limit speed for demanding creative workflows.

Key specification: 3rd Gen Intel Core i7-3470

The processor is a 3rd Generation Intel Core i7-3470 running at 3.4 GHz with Hyper-Threading Technology. It delivers four cores and eight threads for responsive multitasking. This CPU defines the performance ceiling for the whole unit. If your workload needs more cores or newer instruction sets, this platform will not meet those requirements.

Questions about this item

What are the dimensions of the 23" 1920 x 1080 display bezel?

The matte-black bezel measures 3cm on the top and sides and extends to just under 7cm at the bottom around the 23" 1920 x 1080 LED panel.

How do I install additional DDR3 SODIMM modules in the 204-pin slots?

Remove the rear cover, insert the 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM at an angle into the empty slot, then press down until the retention clips click; the step often missed is not seating the module fully before locking it.

When should I replace the 3.5" 1TB SATA hard drive?

Replace the 3.5" 1TB SATA drive if SMART diagnostics report reallocated sectors, if the system becomes audibly noisy, or if Windows 10 Pro shows frequent disk errors during boot or file access.
