Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF All-in-One 22

This Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF All-in-One integrates a 22-inch 1920 x 1080 display with the system chassis. It runs a 3rd Gen Intel Quad Core i5-3470 at 3.20 GHz with 16 GB DDR3 RAM and a 1 TB hard drive. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate deployment in office or home environments.

Bundled Dell 22" monitor keyboard mouse DVD-RW

The included 22-inch Full HD monitor removes the need for a separate display purchase. A USB keyboard and mouse are supplied so the system is ready to use out of the box. The internal DVD-RW drive handles optical media reading and writing. USB Wi-Fi provides wireless connectivity without extra adapters.

USB 2.0 interfaces DVI-D VGA video inputs

Video input to the All-in-One base is limited to DVI-D and VGA ports. USB connectivity uses 2.0 downstream and upstream ports, capping peripheral bandwidth at that standard. The 1 TB mechanical drive offers capacity but slower access than solid-state alternatives. Maximum supported memory is 32 GB DDR3 per manufacturer specifications.

Questions about this item

Will the 1 TB hard drive need replacement before the other parts?

Mechanical drives typically wear out before memory or the processor, so the 1 TB HDD is the most likely component to require swapping later.

Does the i5-3470 hit a thermal wall before the 3.60 GHz turbo can hold?

The small-form-factor design limits sustained turbo; the CPU will drop toward its 3.20 GHz base clock once the heatsink saturates.

How loud is the fan when the OptiPlex 9010 runs all day?

The SFF chassis uses a single system fan that becomes audible under continuous load but stays at office-background level.
