OptiPlex 9020 lock kit

The DELL OptiPlex 9020 Security Lock accessory is a physical anti-theft device made for the OptiPlex 9020 desktop chassis. It secures the small-form-factor case to a desk or anchor point so the system cannot be lifted or opened without authorisation. Offices, schools and shared workspaces use it to protect deployed fleets.

Check chassis slot first

Verify that your OptiPlex 9020 unit has the standard security-cable slot on the rear or side panel before ordering. The lock engages only with that slot; models without it cannot use this accessory. No tools are required for installation once the slot is confirmed.

Steel cable and barrel lock

The kit uses a braided steel cable with a keyed barrel lock that resists cutting and picking attempts. The low-profile head sits flush against the chassis so it does not block the USB 3.0, USB 2.0, DisplayPort, VGA or Ethernet ports. Daily use stays unchanged — cables and peripherals plug in normally while the system stays anchored.
