14-inch business laptop

The Dell Pro 14 Plus is a thin-and-light notebook built for mobile professionals who need a 14.0" FHD+ IPS display and Windows 11 Pro out of the box. It runs on an Intel Core Ultra 5 235U processor with twelve cores and AI Boost capabilities. The 16 GB DDR5 memory and 512 GB SSD provide a responsive platform for mainstream office workloads.

Thermals and power in daily use

A 65 W USB-C adapter supplies power to the 3-cell battery, which is rated for 18.20 hours of runtime under typical conditions. The aluminium chassis helps dissipate heat from the integrated Intel Graphics and Lunar Lake architecture during sustained productivity tasks. Fan activity remains modest during standard document and browser use.

Bundled connectivity and software impact

Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 deliver modern wireless performance for video calls and peripheral pairing, while Gigabit Ethernet adds a wired option for docked scenarios. The integrated webcam supports Windows Hello face authentication enabled by the Pro operating system. No discrete GPU is included, so buyers needing dedicated graphics acceleration should consider other configurations.

Questions about this item

How do I install Windows updates on the Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14250 and what step is often missed?

Open Settings, go to Windows Update, click Check for updates, install everything, restart when prompted, then run Check for updates again because driver bundles for the Intel Core Ultra 5 235U and Intel Graphics often arrive in a second wave after the first reboot.

What maintenance or replacement will the 16GB DDR5 memory and 512GB SSD need later?

The 16GB DDR5 is soldered and cannot be upgraded; the 512GB SSD is replaceable, so plan a larger drive when space runs low and keep firmware current through Dell Command Update to maintain thermal throttling limits.

What limit appears first during sustained loads on the Intel Core Ultra 5 235U with 65W USB-C power?

The 65W adapter caps combined CPU and GPU turbo power, so the 12-core processor drops from 4.90 GHz to base clocks once package power hits the brick limit, and the 60 Hz IPS panel shows no frame-rate benefit beyond that point.
