Dense compute blade for virtualised workloads

The Dell PowerEdge MX760C is a half-width blade fitted with two Intel Gold 6448Y processors running at 2.1 GHz, each providing 32 cores and 60 MB cache. Memory totals 64 GB of DDR4 arranged as four 16 GB modules at PC5-4800. Four 2.4 TB 10K SAS drives connect through an H755 MX controller.

Suits clusters needing high core density

Teams building virtualisation farms or container platforms gain 64 threads in a single slot while the MX chassis supplies redundant Fabric A, B and C switch bays. Buyers who want more storage than six 2.5-inch bays or who require an optical drive should look elsewhere.

H755 MX RAID and 25 Gb mezzanine card shape I/O

The bundled H755 MX controller manages the four SAS drives with hardware RAID levels. A Marvell FastLinQ 41262 mezzanine adds dual 25 Gb CNA ports for converged network and storage traffic. iDRAC9 Express provides remote console and lifecycle management without extra licensing.
