A 1U rack server with Xeon E3-1220 v5, 4 GB DDR4, dual 2 TB SATA drives, H330 RAID controller and redundant 350 W power supplies
The Dell PowerEdge R330 is a 1U rack server built around a single Intel Xeon E3-1220 v5 quad-core processor running at 3.0 GHz. It ships with 4GB of DDR4 memory and two 2TB 7.2K SATA drives managed by a PERC H330 RAID controller supporting levels 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60. Dual 350W hot-swap power supplies provide redundancy for continuous operation in entry-level infrastructure roles.
Four 3.5-inch hot-plug bays allow drive insertion without tools once the server is racked. The PERC H330 controller uses a dedicated internal slot, leaving two PCIe 3.0 slots free for additional cards. iDRAC8 Express is included for remote management; Enterprise features and vFlash media require a licence upgrade. Memory speed is limited by the installed processor to 2400 MT/s across the four DIMM slots.
Confirm your rack can accommodate the 18.99-inch depth and 1.68-inch height before ordering. The system arrives with only 4GB of RAM installed but supports up to 64GB using 4GB, 8GB or 16GB DDR4 modules. No operating system is included, so provision licences separately. Rails, bezel, keyboard, mouse and video cable are not supplied; network connectivity is provided by a dual-port 1GbE daughter card.

Check that iDRAC8 with Lifecycle Controller shows all components healthy and that the H330 controller reports the two 2 TB drives in a healthy RAID array.
The unit ships with E3-1220 v5 CPU, 4 GB DDR4, two 2 TB 3.5" SATA drives, H330 RAID controller, two 350 W redundant power supplies, DVD drive and a power cable; rail kit, bezel, keyboard, mouse and video cable are not included.
The board has four DIMM slots supporting 4 GB, 8 GB or 16 GB DDR4 modules up to 2400 MT/s; total capacity can reach 64 GB, so select modules based on the workload memory requirement.
