The chassis slides into a standard rack using Dell Ready Rails, which are not included in this shipment. The front bezel is also absent, so buyers must source both items before deployment. Internal cabling follows Dell conventions, but the missing rails are the most common oversight.

The PERC H730P storage controller operates at 12 Gb/s across SAS and SATA channels and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 and pass-through.
