A 1U rack server with dual 10-core Xeon Silver 4114 processors at 2.2GHz, 16GB DDR4, HBA330 controller, and eight 1.92TB SATA SSDs in 2.5-inch bays
This Dell PowerEdge R440 is a new 1U rack server built for dense data-centre deployments. It ships with two Intel Xeon Silver 4114 processors running at 2.2 GHz with a 3.0 GHz turbo frequency. Each processor provides ten cores for a total of twenty cores. The system includes sixteen gigabytes of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory in a two-module configuration.
The eight-bay 2.5-inch chassis holds eight 1.92 TB SATA solid-state drives connected to a PERC HBA330 12 Gb/s controller. This all-flash layout serves virtualization hosts, database nodes and cloud infrastructure that need fast, reliable storage in a single rack unit. Buyers who need more drive bays, larger memory capacity or GPU acceleration should evaluate a different platform.
Redundant 550 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies provide fail-over protection for continuous operation. The integrated dual-port gigabit Ethernet adapter and iDRAC 9 Express remote management complete the core feature set. Front bezel and ready rails are not included.

No published specifications for this item yet.
The unit is a 1U rackmount chassis; you must supply your own front bezel and sliding rails because they are not included in the box.
Yes, the HBA330 supports 12 Gb/s SAS and SATA, so any 2.5 inch SATA solid-state drive can be used in the eight front bays.
Connect the dedicated management port, boot the server, and watch for the iDRAC IP address on the LCD panel or POST screen; then browse to that address to confirm the interface loads.
