Versatile 2U rack server for business workloads

The Dell EMC PowerEdge R540 is a 2U rackmount server built for virtualization, database management and software-defined storage. It arrives new with dual Intel Xeon Gold 6130 processors and 64 GB of DDR4-2666 ECC memory.

Suits growing environments needing dense 3.5-inch

This configuration targets businesses that need up to twelve 3.5-inch drive bays in a compact 2U form factor. It is not for buyers who need ready rails or a front bezel included, nor for those requiring smaller 2.5-inch drive density.

HBA330 controller drives twelve-bay capacity

The PERC HBA330 12Gb/s SAS/SATA storage controller manages all twelve drive bays. This single controller choice determines whether the server matches your storage topology and cabling plan.
