The Dell PowerEdge R630 fits a 10-bay 2.5-inch chassis into a 1U rack footprint. Two Xeon E5-2609 v3 processors at 1.9 GHz provide 12 cores total. 768 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory is installed, with capacity to reach 1.5 TB. The PERC H730 SAS controller manages storage. Integrated graphics handle console output.

Dual 495 W supplies and iDRAC8

Redundant 495 W power supplies share the load in normal operation. The iDRAC8 Enterprise licence enables full remote management including virtual console and power control. Network connectivity uses an Intel I350/X540 card delivering two 10 GbE and two 1 GbE ports. Firmware is updated to the latest stable version before shipment and a burn-in test verifies thermal stability.

No drives or rails included
