Storage Controller Constraint

The PERC H745 supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across SATA and SAS drives installed in the eight front-accessible 2.5-inch trays. NVMe devices are not supported by this controller, so workloads requiring direct PCIe flash must choose a different storage adapter or server model. The single specification that decides fit is the H745 controller: it defines which drive interfaces and RAID levels are available and therefore whether the server can meet the storage performance and redundancy needs of the target application.
