The Dell PowerEdge R650xs is a 1U rack server built for dense compute workloads. It ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 6338 processors, each running at 2.0 GHz with 32 cores and 3.2 GHz turbo. The system includes 512 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz registered ECC memory across 16 DIMM slots. Redundant 1400 W platinum power supplies and iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management come standard.

H745 RAID controller with 8 drive trays

The PERC H745 front RAID controller provides 4 GB of non-volatile cache with battery backup and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60. Eight 2.5-inch SAS/SATA drive trays are installed for hot-swap storage. A Broadcom 5720 quad-port 1 GbE OCP 3.0 network adapter adds four RJ45 ports. Ready Rails and a front bezel are included for immediate rack mounting.
