1U rack server with dual Xeon Silver 4314 2.4 GHz 16-core CPUs, 128 GB DDR4, ten 960 GB SATA SSDs on H745 RAID, dual 1400 W PSUs
The Dell PowerEdge R650xs is a 1U rackmount server built for space-constrained data centres. It ships with two Intel Xeon Silver 4314 processors, each running at 2.4 GHz with 16 cores and a 3.4 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 128 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory across eight DIMM slots. It is designed for virtualization, cloud infrastructure and high-performance computing workloads.
The PERC H745 controller manages the ten 2.5-inch drive bays through a SATA interface. It supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 with 4 GB of non-volatile cache backed by a battery. The chassis accepts SAS, SATA and NVMe drives, but the installed controller limits the active array to SATA protocols. Ten 960 GB enterprise SATA SSDs are installed, providing raw capacity for read-intensive workloads.
Two hot-swap 1400 Watt platinum-efficiency power supplies deliver redundant power for the fully populated configuration. The server includes iDRAC 9 Enterprise for remote management, a Broadcom 57412 dual-port 10 GbE SFP+ OCP 3.0 network card, and ships with ready rails and a front bezel. Buyers who need GPU acceleration or NVMe RAID must verify controller compatibility separately.

This server ships with 128GB of DDR4 2666MHz registered ECC memory installed across 8 DIMM slots. The platform supports up to 1TB total, so you can add modules later if workloads demand more capacity.
Two Xeon Silver 4314 processors provide 16 cores each at 2.4GHz base, with turbo up to 3.4GHz. This delivers strong multi-threaded performance for virtualization, databases, and compute tasks in a 1U form factor.
The H745 RAID controller manages the 10 x 960GB SATA SSDs with 4GB NV cache and battery backup. It supports RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60, and the SATA 6Gb/s interface sets the maximum drive throughput.
