ReadyRails allow tool-less mounting in standard four-post racks and the chassis supports hot-swap 2.5-inch drive bays, redundant 750 W platinum power supplies and the PERC H730 controller with battery-backed cache. Common issues include confirming SAS backplane cabling matches the eight installed 1.2 TB 10 K drives and verifying that the iDRAC8 Enterprise licence is activated for remote management before the server leaves the staging area.
