The chassis provides eight 3.5-inch bays backed by a Dell PERC H730 SAS RAID controller. This hardware RAID adapter manages SATA and SAS drives in RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 configurations. The controller choice determines the maximum array size, stripe width and rebuild performance for your storage layout.

Dual 495W supplies and iDRAC8 Enterprise remote

Redundant 495W power supplies share the load and maintain operation if one unit fails.
