It ships with two Intel Xeon E5-2680 v3 processors, each running at 2.5 GHz with 12 cores and a 3.3 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 128 GB of DDR4 2133 MHz registered ECC memory across eight 16 GB modules installed in 24 available slots.

Hot-swap components simplify deployment

Eight 2.5-inch drive bays support hot-swap SAS hard drives, allowing storage changes without downtime. The PERC H730 controller provides RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through modes with a 1 GB cache battery. Redundant 750 W platinum power supplies and iDRAC 8 Enterprise remote management are also hot-swappable. The quad-port network daughter card combines two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ connections on a single mezzanine slot.
