Two Intel Xeon Gold 6154 processors each deliver 18 cores at 3.0 GHz with a 3.7 GHz turbo frequency. The system ships with 64 GB of DDR4-2666 ECC registered memory across 16 slots and a Dell PERC H330 controller managing 26 enterprise 8 TB 7.2K SATA drives.

Sustained throughput and thermal stability

The dual 1100 W platinum power supplies provide redundant hot-swap power for continuous operation under full drive and CPU load. The 2U chassis is engineered to maintain airflow across all 26 drive bays and both processors during prolonged backup, analytics or software-defined storage tasks. iDRAC 9 Enterprise enables remote monitoring of thermal and power metrics without interrupting the workload.

SATA 6 Gb/s and OCP 2.0 connectivity limits

Each of the 26 drives connects through the H330 controller over a SATA 6 Gb/s interface, capping individual drive throughput at that link speed. The Broadcom 57414 dual-port 10/25 Gb SFP28 mezzanine card uses an OCP 2.0 slot, restricting future networking upgrades to cards compatible with that form factor. PCIe expansion remains available for additional controllers, but the 2U height limits the number and length of add-in cards.
