The Dell PowerEdge R750 ships as a complete 2U rack system with two Intel Xeon Gold 6338 processors, 64GB of DDR4 memory and twelve 8TB SATA drives pre-installed. The PERC H755 controller with 8GB NV cache handles RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Dual 1400W platinum power supplies, a quad-port 1GbE OCP 3.0 card and iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management are included.

This configuration targets databases, virtualization hosts and analytics clusters that need large spinning-disk arrays and redundant power in a 2U footprint. Buyers who need all-flash speed, NVMe density or GPU acceleration should look at a different chassis because the installed drives are 7.2K SATA and no GPU risers are mentioned.

The server provides exactly twelve 3.5-inch SATA bays populated with 8TB enterprise drives. If your project requires more than twelve drives, 2.5-inch bay density or direct NVMe attachment, this unit cannot meet that requirement.
