Dell PowerEdge R750 2U 12-Bay Server

The Dell PowerEdge R750 is a 2U rack server built for enterprise workloads. It ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 6338 processors and 128GB of DDR4 memory. A PERC H755 RAID controller manages twelve 4TB SATA drives. Dual 1400W power supplies and iDRAC9 Enterprise provide redundancy and remote management.

Suited for virtualisation and database clusters.

This configuration suits organisations running virtualisation clusters, large databases or memory-intensive analytics. The twelve 3.5-inch bays are filled with high-capacity hard drives, so builders who need all-flash speed or GPU acceleration should look at a different chassis or controller.

PERC H755 RAID controller with 8GB NV cache

The PERC H755 controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 with 8GB of non-volatile cache and a battery backup. This specification determines the storage resilience and write performance available to the operating system.
