2U rack server with dual Xeon Gold 6338 32-core processors, 512GB DDR4 memory, H755 RAID controller, twelve 3.5-inch drive bays, dual 10GbE SFP+ networking and iDRAC9 Enterprise management
This 2U rack server ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 6338 processors, each running at 2.0 GHz with a 3.2 GHz turbo frequency and 32 cores. It is built for organisations that need high core counts and large memory capacity for databases, analytics or virtualisation. The system supports up to two processors on the LGA 4189 socket and delivers the compute density required for demanding data-centre tasks.
Two 1400 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies provide redundant hot-swap power for continuous operation. The chassis includes twelve 3.5-inch SAS/SATA drive trays, allowing hot-swap storage changes without downtime. A Broadcom 57412 dual-port 10 GbE SFP+ OCP 3.0 network card is installed, giving high-speed connectivity for cluster or storage traffic. Ready Rails and a front bezel are included for standard rack mounting.
The server arrives with 512 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz registered ECC memory across sixteen 32 GB modules, expandable to 2 TB. The Dell PERC H755 controller includes 8 GB NV cache with battery backup and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 for flexible data protection. iDRAC 9 Enterprise enables full remote management, monitoring and automation across the infrastructure.

The H755 RAID controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 with its 8GB non-volatile cache and battery backup.
This server occupies 2U of rack space and ships with Dell Ready Rails for tool-less installation in standard 4-post racks.
Two Gold 6338 CPUs are factory-installed in the LGA 4189 sockets; the critical step is applying the correct torque sequence to the heat-sink retention nuts so pressure is even across all 32 cores per processor.
