The Dell PowerEdge T430 is a 5U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon E5-2650 v4 processors, each running at 2.2 GHz with a 2.9 GHz turbo frequency and twelve cores. With 256 GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory installed across eight 32 GB modules, the system targets virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V and Proxmox VE as well as database and business-application hosting.

Sixteen 2.5-inch bays with PERC H330 controller

The chassis provides sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays, of which eight Dell 13G trays are included; SAS, SATA and SSD media are supported through the Dell PERC H330 12 Gb/s storage controller. Integrated dual-port Gigabit Ethernet and iDRAC 8 Express remote management handle network connectivity and out-of-band administration, while PCI Express slots remain available for additional RAID, networking or accelerator cards.

Two hot-plug 750 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies deliver redundant power for continuous operation in production environments. The 5U rack form factor with optional conversion kit allows deployment in standard server racks, and the LGA 2011 socket platform supports a maximum of 384 GB of memory across twelve slots for future expansion.
