Dual 12-core Xeon E5-2650 v4 at 2.2 GHz with 32 GB DDR4, H330 controller and 16-bay 2.5" chassis in 5U
The Dell PowerEdge T430 is a 5U tower server that supports two Intel Xeon E5-2650 v4 processors running at 2.2GHz with a 2.9GHz turbo frequency. Each CPU delivers twelve cores for a total of twenty-four cores across the dual-socket configuration. It ships with 32GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory installed across four slots. The PERC H330 storage controller manages SAS and SATA drives. This system targets businesses running virtualization, databases, or file storage.
The chassis provides sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays with four drive trays included. The H330 controller handles RAID across SAS, SATA, and SSD media. Dual 750 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies operate in redundant hot-swap mode. Integrated dual-port gigabit Ethernet and iDRAC 8 Express remote management come standard. PCI Express slots remain available for additional RAID, networking, or accelerator cards. The front bezel and ready rails are not included.
Memory capacity scales from the factory 32GB up to 384GB across twelve DDR4 slots using ECC registered modules. The dual LGA 2011 sockets are already fully populated with the maximum two processors. Storage starts empty, letting you choose SAS, SATA, or SSD drives for the sixteen bays. This server replaces older tower or 4U systems that lack hot-swap density or integrated remote management. The jump is worth it when you need sixteen-bay flexibility and dual-socket compute in a 5U form factor.

The system ships with two 750 W platinum power supplies in a redundant configuration, so the sustained power ceiling is 750 W.
Five rack units of space and redundant 750 W supplies give ample airflow; fan speed ramps with thermal load, keeping noise and heat at typical rack-server levels for this class.
Four 2.5-inch drive trays and a Dell PERC H330 SAS/SATA controller are supplied; additional trays are needed to populate all 16 bays.
