5U rack server with dual 14-core Xeon E5-2660 v4 CPUs at 2.0 GHz, 32 GB DDR4, PERC H330 controller, eight 2.5-inch drive trays and redundant 750 W power supplies
This 5U tower server ships with dual Intel Xeon E5-2660 v4 processors, each running at 2.0GHz with a 3.2GHz turbo and 14 cores, plus 32GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across four slots. The PERC H330 controller manages SAS and SATA drives, making the platform suitable for VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, Proxmox VE, SQL Server, and file or backup roles. Two 750W platinum power supplies provide redundant hot-swap power.
The chassis occupies 5U and offers sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap bays, though only eight drive trays are included; confirm you have enough trays or caddies for your intended drive count. Twelve DDR4 slots support up to 384GB total, so plan any memory expansion around the four populated slots. An optional rack conversion kit is required for rack mounting, and the front bezel plus ready rails are not included.
Hot-swap 750W platinum supplies let you replace a failed unit without downtime, while iDRAC 8 Express gives browser-based remote console, power control and hardware monitoring over the network. Dual integrated Gigabit Ethernet ports handle management and workload traffic without extra cards. The front-access drive bays and tool-less trays make drive swaps straightforward during maintenance windows.
