5U tower server with dual 18-core Xeon CPUs at 2.1 GHz, 128 GB DDR4 ECC memory, HBA330 controller and four 1.92 TB SATA SSDs
The Dell PowerEdge T430 is a 5U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon E5-2695 v4 processors. Each CPU delivers 18 cores at 2.1GHz with a 3.3GHz turbo frequency. This configuration targets virtualization hosts, database nodes, and business-critical workloads that demand high thread counts and large memory footprints. The system ships with 128GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across twelve slots.
Storage is managed by a Dell PERC HBA330 12Gb/s SAS/SATA controller operating in HBA mode without hardware RAID. The 5U chassis provides sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays supporting SAS, SATA, and SSD media. Four 1.92TB SATA 6Gb/s enterprise solid-state drives are installed. Network connectivity includes an integrated dual-port Gigabit Ethernet adapter, and remote management is handled by iDRAC 8 Express.
The current 128GB DDR4-2400 ECC registered configuration occupies eight of twelve memory slots, leaving room to scale to the 384GB maximum. This headroom supports additional virtual machines, larger in-memory databases, or expanded buffer pools. Dual 750W platinum power supplies provide redundant hot-swap power for continuous operation. The front bezel and ready rails are not included.

The 128GB DDR4-2400 ECC registered configuration uses eight 16GB modules across twelve slots, leaving four slots open for future expansion up to the 384GB maximum.
Eighteen cores per processor at 2.1GHz base and 3.3GHz turbo provide high thread count for parallel query execution, while turbo boost handles burst workloads automatically.
The HBA330 connects each 2.5-inch drive at SATA 6Gb/s, so the four 1.92TB SSDs share the controller’s twelve-lane bandwidth without a RAID bottleneck.
