5U rack server with dual 10-core Xeon Silver 4210 CPUs at 2.2GHz, 32GB DDR4, PERC H330 controller and four 1.92TB SATA SSDs
This Dell PowerEdge T440 ships as a 5U rack server with two Intel Xeon Silver 4210 processors. Each CPU runs at 2.2 GHz with a 3.2 GHz turbo and provides 10 cores. The system includes 32 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory across four modules and a PERC H330 controller managing four 1.92 TB SATA SSDs. It targets virtualization, database hosting and business-critical workloads.
The PERC H330 connects drives over a 12 Gb/s SAS and SATA interface. Installed solid-state drives use the SATA 6 Gb/s link, so throughput is bounded by that standard rather than the controller's maximum. The server offers sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap bays, yet only four are populated with 1.92 TB drives. RAID levels supported by the H330 determine redundancy and usable capacity for any additional drives.
Two processors are already installed and the board allows a maximum of two, so no further CPU upgrades are possible. Sixteen DDR4 slots exist with 32 GB occupied, leaving room to expand toward the 1 TB ceiling using ECC registered modules. Dual 750 W platinum power supplies provide redundancy, and the chassis accepts an optional rack conversion kit. Front bezel and ready rails are not included.

The server ships with 32 GB across four slots; sixteen DDR4 slots are available and the board supports up to 1 TB, so you can expand memory as workloads grow.
Each Xeon Silver 4210 runs at 2.2 GHz base and can boost to 3.2 GHz, giving two 10-core processors strong single-thread bursts and steady multi-core throughput for virtualization.
The H330 provides 12 Gb/s SAS and SATA connectivity; with four 1.92 TB SATA SSDs installed you get solid read speeds, while write throughput is capped by the SATA 6 Gb/s interface.
