The Dell PowerEdge T440 is a 5U tower server with two Intel Xeon Silver 4214 processors running at 2.2GHz with 3.2GHz turbo. It provides 256GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across eight 32GB modules. The system includes a PERC H730P 2GB storage controller supporting RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60 and pass-through mode.

Check rack space and drive count

This unit occupies 5U of rack height and requires an optional conversion kit for rack mounting. It ships with eight 2.5-inch drive trays installed, leaving eight bays empty in the 16-bay chassis. No hard drives or SSDs are included, so you must supply your own SAS or SATA storage devices. Dual 750W platinum power supplies are present for redundancy.
