16-bay 2.5-inch hot-swap chassis

Sixteen front-access drive bays accept SAS and SATA solid-state or hard drives. The Dell PERC HBA330 12 Gb/s controller manages the installed 1.92 TB SATA SSDs in JBOD or pass-through mode. No RAID battery or cache is included, so hardware RAID levels are not available without a PERC upgrade.
