Precision 3560 workstation laptop

The Precision 3560 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation built around an Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor with four cores and a 4.40 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The NVIDIA T500 graphics card provides 2GB of dedicated video memory for professional applications.

HD display and Thunderbolt connectivity

The 1366 x 768 HD panel is a non-touch screen suited to standard office workflows rather than colour-critical editing. Two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports handle power input, video output and high-speed data simultaneously. HDMI 2.0, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, RJ-45 and a microSD reader complete the physical I/O.

Quad-core Tiger Lake processor

The i7-1185G7 tops out at 4.40 GHz across its four cores, setting the ceiling for single-thread and lightly threaded CAD or simulation tasks. Buyers who need more cores for sustained rendering or heavier multi-threaded workloads will find this CPU the limiting factor.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 512 GB SSD or a larger drive for this Precision 3560?

The laptop ships with a 512 GB solid-state drive; if you need more space you can add a larger drive later, but the supplied capacity is 512 GB.

What does the 4.4 GHz turbo figure mean when the Core i7-1185G7 is inside this chassis?

The processor can boost up to 4.4 GHz on up to four cores when thermals allow, giving short bursts of higher performance for CAD or rendering tasks.

What can the two Thunderbolt ports on this 3560 actually drive?

Each Thunderbolt port carries data, video and power-in, so you can connect high-speed storage, external GPUs or dual displays through a single cable.
