Dell Precision 5520 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 5520 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation built around a 2.90 GHz Intel Core i7-7820HQ processor, 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD. An NVIDIA Quadro M1200 with 4 GB GDDR5 dedicated graphics drives the 1920 x 1080 UltraSharp IPS anti-glare display. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Engineers and creators needing certified drivers

ISV-certified Quadro drivers suit CAD, 3D modelling and video editing workflows that rely on stable OpenGL performance. The Thunderbolt 3 port and SD card reader supporting up to 2 TB cards aid peripheral connectivity. Buyers who want a touchscreen, higher GPU memory or a newer processor generation should look elsewhere.

Dual-drive M.2 NVMe plus 2.5-inch bay

The chassis accepts one M.2 PCIe NVMe solid state drive and one 2.5-inch SSD or HDD simultaneously, enabling separate OS and project volumes without an external dock. Memory slots total two with a 32 GB DDR4 ceiling.
