Mobile workstation with Quadro graphics

The Dell Precision 5520 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation built around a 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7820HQ processor and an Nvidia Quadro M1200 dedicated GPU. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed on the silver chassis.

Suited for ISV-certified apps, not heavy GPU compute

Professionals running certified engineering or design applications will value the Quadro driver stack and the 1920 x 1080 IPS anti-glare panel. The non-touch display keeps weight near 1.59 kg. Buyers who need more graphics memory or higher compute performance for rendering should look at larger workstation models.

Thunderbolt 3 and SD reader expand connectivity

A USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 supports external GPUs, high-speed storage or dual 4K displays. Two USB 3.0 ports include PowerShare for charging devices while the laptop sleeps. An HDMI 1.4 output, a headset jack and a full-size SD card reader round out the physical interfaces.
