DELL Precision 5530 laptop i7-8850H 16GB 512GB+2TB P1000 15.6 FHD

Precision 5530 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 5530 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation built around a six-core Intel Core i7-8850H processor running at 2.60 GHz with turbo up to 4.30 GHz. It carries 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P1000 graphics card with 4 GB of GDDR5 video memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and is aimed at professionals who need certified graphics performance in a thin silver chassis.

Dual NVMe storage and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity

The configuration includes two M.2 solid-state drives totalling 512 GB plus 2 TB of NVMe storage, giving large local capacity for project files and applications. A single Thunderbolt 3 port provides x4 PCIe bandwidth for external GPUs, high-speed storage arrays or dual 4K displays, while an HDMI 2.0 output adds a second external monitor option. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and a headset jack round out the physical I/O.

Verify OS licensing and port requirements before

The unit is listed with Windows 10 Pro in the specifications but the supplier notes Windows 11 Pro installed; confirm which licence is actually provided. The 15.6 inch panel is a non-touch IPS display covering 72 percent colour gamut at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Buyers who need touchscreen input, a full-size SD card reader or more than two USB-A ports should look elsewhere.
