Precision 5760 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 5760 is a 17 inch mobile workstation running Windows 11 Pro. It combines an 8 core Intel Core i7 11850H processor with 32GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. A dedicated NVIDIA RTX A2000 GPU with 4GB GDDR6 handles graphics workloads on a 1920 x 1200 non touch display.

Suited for GPU accelerated workflows

This system suits users who need certified drivers for professional 3D and compute applications in a portable chassis. It is not for buyers who require a touchscreen, a larger storage volume or a higher resolution panel than 1920 x 1200.

4GB GDDR6 RTX A2000 graphics

The RTX A2000 provides 4GB of GDDR6 memory for viewport rendering and GPU compute tasks. This capacity determines whether the laptop can hold your working datasets and models in video memory.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the Precision 5760 get when the i7-11850H runs at 4.8 GHz turbo all day?

The chassis measures 8.67 mm at the front and 13.15 mm at the rear, leaving limited space for airflow when the 8-core processor sustains 4.8 GHz; expect noticeable fan noise and warm surface temperatures under continuous load.

Which peripherals must I already own to use the two Thunderbolt 4.0 Type-C ports on this Precision 5760?

You need Thunderbolt 4.0 or USB-C cables, docks, monitors or storage devices that match the Type-C connector; legacy USB-A, HDMI or DisplayPort gear requires adapters not included in the box.

Will my older USB-A accessories work directly with the Precision 5760's Thunderbolt 4.0 ports?

No — the laptop provides only two Thunderbolt 4.0 Type-C ports and a headphone jack, so USB-A mice, keyboards, drives or printers need a separate Type-C to Type-A adapter or hub.
