Mobile workstation for power users

The Dell Precision 7510 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation built for professionals who need reliable computing performance on the go. It combines a quad-core Intel Core i7-6820HQ processor running at 2.7 GHz with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a dedicated NVIDIA Quadro M1000M graphics card with 2GB of GDDR5 video memory. The system ships with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed and a 1TB SATA SSD for fast storage access.

Included accessories enable immediate deployment

The package supplies the laptop, a compatible charger and the internal battery so the unit is ready to use without extra purchases. Four USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI output and a Mini DisplayPort connection allow multiple external displays and peripherals to be attached at once. Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac wireless with Bluetooth provide flexible network connectivity for office or field work.

Straightforward setup with standard service access

Windows 10 Pro is pre-loaded and configured so the workstation boots to a working desktop on first power-up. The 2.5 inch SATA drive bay and memory slots are accessible for future upgrades if required. Buyers who need a touchscreen interface or a lighter ultrabook chassis should consider alternative form factors.

Questions about this item

Will the 2.5in SATA 1TB SSD need replacing if I run out of space?

The 1TB SSD uses a standard 2.5in SATA interface, so you can swap it for a larger SATA drive when capacity becomes a limit.

Which component hits its ceiling first during long rendering sessions on the Quadro M1000M?

The Quadro M1000M has 2GB GDDR5 video memory; that VRAM pool fills before the 32GB system memory during heavy GPU workloads.

How loud and hot does the 7510 get when the i7-6820HQ runs at 2.7GHz all day?

The quad-core i7-6820HQ draws significant power under sustained load, so fan noise and chassis temperature rise noticeably during extended full-speed operation.
