Mobile Workstation for Data-Intensive Tasks

The Dell Precision 7560 pairs an 8-core Intel Core i7-11850H processor with 128GB of system memory and a 128GB solid-state drive. An NVIDIA T1200 GPU with 4GB GDDR6 supports professional visual workloads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the 15.6-inch Full HD non-touch display.

Sustained Performance Under Load

The processor runs at a 2.5GHz base frequency and reaches 4.8GHz with Turbo Boost across eight cores. The dedicated T1200 graphics card handles compute tasks separately from the CPU. This thermal design targets stable output during extended rendering or simulation sessions without throttling.

Silver Chassis with Integrated Connectivity

The silver-finish body houses a 1920 x 1080 panel and an integrated webcam for video calls. Wireless LAN 802.11ac and Bluetooth provide cable-free networking and peripheral support. The compact 15.0-inch form factor suits mobile professionals who need workstation-class memory capacity in a portable frame.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Nvidia T1200 driver on the Precision 7560 without losing the 4GB GDDR6 acceleration?

Install the Dell-validated Nvidia driver from the support site for the Precision 7560, then verify in Task Manager that the T1200 shows 4GB GDDR6 dedicated memory; skipping the Dell package and using a generic driver often disables hardware acceleration.

Which component in the Precision 7560 will need replacement first — the 128GB SSD or the 128GB RAM?

The 128GB SSD will reach its write-endurance limit years before the 128GB RAM shows any wear; plan to swap the SSD for a larger drive when capacity or health warnings appear.

What thermal limit appears first when the i7-11850H runs at 4.8 GHz on all 8 cores during a long render?

The CPU hits its thermal junction ceiling and throttles below 4.8 GHz within minutes; sustained all-core turbo requires external cooling or accepting lower clocks.
