Mobile workstation for 3D workflows

The Dell Precision 7720 combines a 17.3 inch FHD IPS display with an Intel Core i7-7820HQ processor and NVIDIA Quadro P3000 graphics. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD support large assemblies and rendering tasks. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed. The chassis includes a full-size backlit keyboard with track stick.

Verify Thunderbolt 3 dock and display needs

Confirm that any external monitor uses HDMI 1.4 or mDP 1.4 inputs to match the available video ports. The single Thunderbolt 3 connection handles power delivery and data for compatible docks. Four USB 3.0 ports with PowerShare charge peripherals while the system sleeps. Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11 ac Wi-Fi cover wired and wireless networks.

Bundled webcam and card reader expand utility

An integrated HD webcam enables video calls without extra hardware. The SD card reader accepts SD, SDHC and SDXC media up to two terabytes for direct media ingest. Bluetooth 4.2 pairs mice, headsets or phones cable-free. No optical drive is fitted, so software installs rely on USB or network sources.
