Genuine Dell Precision M6300 Bottom Base Assembly

This genuine Dell OEM replacement base bottom assembly is designed specifically for the Dell Precision M6300 laptop. It restores the structural foundation of the chassis using a plastic and metal alloy construction. The part includes a Bluetooth wire for wireless connectivity integration. It is intended for technicians or owners repairing physical damage to the laptop's lower casing.

Sustained Structural Integrity

Under sustained load, the metal alloy reinforcement maintains chassis rigidity to protect internal components from flex stress. The precise moulding ensures consistent alignment of motherboard mounting points and port cutouts over time. The integrated Bluetooth wire remains securely routed within the assembly to prevent signal degradation or physical strain during extended use. This stability supports reliable long-term operation of the workstation.

Replaces Damaged or Worn Original Base Assembly

This part directly replaces a cracked, warped, or missing original base assembly bearing part number FN321. The upgrade is worth it when the existing chassis no longer secures internal hardware or prevents proper docking alignment. Buyers needing speakers, screws, access doors, or the Bluetooth door cover must source those separately as they are not included. It is not for users seeking a complete palm rest or top case replacement.

Questions about this item

Does the base assembly run hot or make noise when the laptop is under load all day?

This is a passive plastic and metal alloy chassis piece with no moving parts, so it produces no heat or noise of its own.

What other parts must I already have to install this FN321 base on my Precision M6300?

You will need to supply your own speakers, screws, covers and the separate bluetooth door, as none are included with the base.

Will my existing Precision M6300 bluetooth cable connect to this replacement base?

Yes, the base includes the bluetooth wire routing, so the original cable fits directly without modification.
