Dell Precision M6500 17" LCD Front Trim Bezel

This genuine Dell bezel replaces the front plastic trim on a 17-inch Precision M6500 laptop. It is manufactured without a webcam port or window, matching the factory specification for systems that shipped without a camera. The part number JV8NK is printed on the component for identification.

Check your existing bezel before ordering

Confirm that your Precision M6500 currently has no integrated webcam, because this trim lacks the camera opening. Compare the JV8NK part number on the original bezel to ensure an exact match, as Dell produced multiple bezel variants for this chassis. Installation requires removing the display assembly screws and snapping the new trim into place.

Suits owners of camera-less Precision M6500 units

This bezel is for technicians or owners repairing a 17-inch Precision M6500 that was built without a webcam. It will not fit models equipped with a camera, nor will it suit other Dell 17-inch series such as the Latitude or XPS lines. Buyers needing a bezel with a camera window should source the alternate part.

Questions about this item

Does the Dell Precision M6500 17" front bezel JV8NK arrive with any mounting hardware or must the original screws be reused?

The bezel is supplied as the plastic front trim only; all screws, hinges and the LCD panel itself must be transferred from the original assembly.

How do I confirm that the JV8NK bezel without a camera port is the correct version for my Precision M6500?

Match the part number JV8NK on the existing bezel and verify the laptop has no integrated webcam; this bezel lacks the camera window entirely.

Will fitting this JV8NK trim change the 17" display fit or the 6500 chassis alignment?

It is an OEM replacement designed to the original dimensions, so the 17" LCD seats identically and the chassis alignment remains unchanged.
