Genuine Dell 17.3" LCD back cover assembly

This genuine Dell LCD back cover lid assembly is manufactured for the Precision M6700 17.3" mobile workstation. It arrives new with left and right hinges, hinge covers, the FHD/HD+ video ribbon cable (DPart 2D4X1) and wireless antenna wires pre-installed. The part number A12129 confirms exact OEM fit for that chassis.

Direct replacement for damaged lid structure

The assembly replaces a cracked, bent or hinge-damaged lid on the Precision M6700 without requiring separate hinge or cable sourcing. Integrated hinges and routing channels align to the existing mounting points and display bezel. Technicians can swap the complete unit and retain the original panel, webcam module and antenna placement.

Pre-fitted cables and hinges reduce rebuild time

Bundled left and right hinges, hinge covers and the video ribbon cable eliminate the need to transfer fragile components from the old lid. Wireless and broadband antenna wires are already routed through the cover channels. This lowers reassembly risk and avoids ordering multiple spare part numbers for a single repair.
