Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14255

The Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14255 is a 14.0-inch business laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 250 processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. It ships with 16GB of soldered LPDDR5X memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The WUXGA IPS display runs at 1920x1200 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for professional environments.

Connectivity limits

Wireless connectivity uses 802.11be and Bluetooth 5.4 for modern network speeds. Wired networking is handled by a single RJ-45 port. Video output relies on one HDMI port and two Thunderbolt 4 ports that also accept Type-C power input. The integrated AMD Radeon 780M graphics share system memory and suit office workloads rather than heavy 3D rendering. Buyers needing discrete GPU performance or user-replaceable storage should consider other form factors.

Installation notes

The laptop arrives as a sealed, upgraded unit with the manufacturer box opened by technicians for component installation and testing. Memory is onboard and cannot be upgraded after purchase. The 55 WHr battery and 65W Type-C adapter are integrated into the chassis. Driver updates for the Ryzen platform and Radeon 780M should be sourced from AMD and Dell support channels to maintain stability.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 16 GB LPDDR5X model or look for a higher capacity?

The 16 GB LPDDR5X configuration is soldered and cannot be upgraded later, so select it only if your workload fits within that limit.

What does the Ryzen 7 PRO 250 reaching 5.1 GHz mean for everyday performance?

The 8-core, 16-thread processor can boost to 5.1 GHz for short bursts, speeding up compilation, rendering and multitasking before thermal limits reduce clocks.

What can the two Thunderbolt 4 ports actually do on this laptop?

Each Thunderbolt 4 port carries data, DisplayPort video and USB-C power delivery, letting you drive external monitors, connect NVMe storage and charge through a single cable.
