Dual 10Gb SFP+ CNA for rack servers

This QLogic converged network adapter fits full-height PCIe slots in rack-mounted systems. It provides two 10Gb SFP+ ports for Ethernet and storage traffic over a single card. The hardware suits administrators consolidating LAN and SAN connections in dense server chassis.

Tested firmware and dual-port flexibility

Each unit ships with updated firmware so the adapter is ready for immediate deployment. Two SFP+ cages let you choose copper or fibre transceivers per link without replacing the card. Buyers who need more than two ports or a different form factor will require additional or alternative adapters.

Questions about this item

How often should the SFP+ transceivers be replaced under heavy workloads?

The SFP+ transceivers are hot-swappable modules; replace them only when link errors or optical degradation appear, not on a fixed schedule.

What thermal limit throttles the card first during sustained 10 Gb traffic?

The QLogic controller will throttle when its internal temperature sensor hits the firmware-defined thermal ceiling, protecting the ASIC before the chassis airflow limit is reached.
